Assemblage by Artfully Told
One canvas. Many hands. One story.
An intimate, guided collaborative art experience for 3–6 people, held locally around Northern Virginia. Together, you create one original 36 × 36-inch painting.

Instead of copying a predetermined painting, you're guided through simple creative prompts. Each person contributes to the same canvas, responding to what came before.
No art experience is needed. There is no “right” finished painting and no image everyone is trying to recreate. It's about creativity, connection, and seeing what happens when individual choices become part of something shared.
01
Gather
Three to six friends, family, colleagues or a small group come together around one blank 36 × 36-inch canvas.
02
Respond
Guided prompts in composition, color, shape and mark-making. Each person adds to what came before, and the painting evolves naturally.
03
Keep it
At the end of the experience, the original 36 × 36 artwork belongs to the group.
Where it happens
